So I had to switch to cabbage catapults and the new boomerang plants. It's littered with tombstones that block peas. I could still use this strategy occasionally in the sequel, but usually there were twists that forced me to switch things up. And lastly a line of walnuts to keep the zombies munching whilst my artillery did its job. Then I'd have a couple of lines of pea shooters as my artillery, topped up with a line of Torchwoods to set the ammo on fire. I'd devote a couple of lines up the back to sunflowers, because they create extra sunlight, the game's currency for building new plants. Yes, my go-to strategy in the original game is still hard-wired in my brain. And your only defence against the zombies are those lines of botanic weaponary. Now as far as brain's go his is a pretty bland one, but if you fail to fend off the zombies and they'll still eat it. Just like the first game, the tower you're protecting is Crazy Dave's brain. I wish you'd stop pestering me to keep going back in time to get you more vintage cheese sandwiches. You see, he's already eaten the taco in the present, but it was just so good he wanted to rewind time to eat it again. Especially the hero Crazy Dave who's heading back in time to find a taco. And yes I do like that this game never takes itself too seriously.
